Format:   Four-ball Match Play.  In this format two teams of two, play their better ball of
two against the better ball of the other two.  The lowest net score of the four
balls wins the hole for the team.  If a tie occurs the hole is said to “be halved”
and there is no winner for that hole. The team that wins the most
               holes outright are the winner.

Rules:     These matches are played under the USGA Rules of Golf. You may want to
review the following rules before you play, rule 2 and 30-3.

All matches need to be completed with in a set time period (normally 2 weeks).
Also, matches should be expected to be played on Saturday or Sunday because
many members have jobs, and no one should be forced or expected to take a day
to play a match. Feel free to play during week if all match participants agree.

These matches can be played on either Arrowhead or Tomahawk. We suggest
that you choose a date and than check for course availability. If both courses are
available and a choice can’t be decided among the foursome, then do a coin
               toss.
